In opening ceremony took part the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin, head of the Department of culture of Moscow Alexander Kibovsky, Director General of the Museum Association “Moscow Museum” Alina Saprykina.
According to the mayor, in 1997, the Museum of archaeology of Moscow was opened with serious disturbances, so after only 15 years it was reconstructed (in the Museum replaced engineering networks, upgraded ventilation systems, lighting and fire safety carried out the partial replanning of the internal spaces, which include automated access control system). “Now here is the most modern Museum equipment. So I think it will be for many years to serve the citizens and visitors of the capital, to delight them with their exhibitions,” said Sergei Sobyanin.
